The On Culture Programme

A three-step approach to define your organisation’s cultural challenges and opportunities, uncover how culture is represented in your practices, and establish priorities for instilling a successful one into your daily operations.

Flash Survey

With this, we ask your employees to answer an anonymous, two-question survey two weeks before the Baseline Workshop. This lets us know how they perceive your organisation’s culture.

Designed to be nearly frictionless to field, the Flash Survey allows for behind-the-scenes segmentation and encourages participation from your entire team. We gather quantitative and qualitative data to quickly gain insights into the current state of your culture, including where there is alignment across your organisation and how entrenched the culture is within different teams.

Outcome: kickstarts the process by gathering rich data from all levels of your organisation about your existing culture.

Baseline Workshop

The second step in the process is a designed and facilitated four-hour workshop with your senior leadership team. We review the data from the Flash Survey and then guide you through in-depth discussions that encourage you to delve deep into all aspects of your operations.

Using our Culture Canvas framework, we explore how the 12 pillars of culture manifest themselves within your organisation and examine how key topics such as EDI and hybrid working factors into your procedures and processes.

By identifying your organisation’s actions (and inactions) across the cultural pillars, you will begin to determine how your culture influences everyday practices. This allows everyone to understand and clarify what makes your culture and why it matters.

Outcome: a clear understanding of your current culture and where challenges and opportunities exist for shaping it into what you want it to be.

Mapping Workshop

The final step of the process is a facilitated, four-hour workshop with your senior leadership team. Based on the challenges and opportunities identified in the Baseline Workshop, we design this session to galvanise your team’s thinking about what actionable steps can be taken to achieve the culture you want.

During the session, we determine where there is low-hanging fruit and what will require more in-depth analysis or further consideration. We identify who is responsible for specific actions, the timelines for completion, and how their success can be measured. We ensure your team is fully aligned regarding where and how to start and understand the path to success.

Outcome: a roadmap for creating the desired culture that grows your organisation with purpose and leaves you with happy, focused employees.

The programme can be completed in as little as three weeks.
